Glen - Owner
Glen is the owner, the boss, the "buck stops here guy" and he opened up the store in June 2011. Prior to PIAS, he worked in retail pharmacy for 28 years. Growing up in Western Illinois, he played baseball through his high school years, then moved on to softball. He was more musically inclined than athletic, but has always enjoyed the passion of participating and watching different sports. He moved here with his wife in 1990 and has three children. Watching and putting many hours into running them around and sitting in the bleachers and sidelines, he walked into a PIAS store in St Louis one afternoon while attending a soccer tournament and decided that this is something that can be fun and that Evansville needed again, and thus the rest is history.
He talks "We Play" with golf, fitness, and soccer, and dabbles with Disc Golf. He coached youth basketball, baseball, and soccer teams while his three children were growing up and now he currently referees soccer around the area. Come on in and talk to him about helping out your league, your team, or if you need something for your home. Remember, "EVERYBODY PLAYS" at Play It Again Sports.
